A young boy was discovered in the boot of his parent's car after a large-scale police search.
Emergency services descended on the scene in Ashford to search for the four-year-old after he was reported missing.
Around 10 police cars are believed to have descended on the Kingsnorth area to search for the child this afternoon.
They joined a search party that had already been set up by neighbours.
Thankfully, he was discovered after sharp-thinking police officers thought to check in his father's car.
It is thought that he had been playing and had got into the car, at which point he became stuck.
An eyewitness said: "The neighbours formed a search party and covered a large area.
"He was very very lucky that police decided to check in the boot."
A police spokesman confirmed officers had located the boy, who was then treated at the scene by the ambulance service.
