Markham gets wild card entry

Ashford motorcycle racer Toby Markham is to race at the forthcoming 250 British Grand Prix as a ‘wild card’ rider.
The high profile event takes place at Donington Park circuit over the weekend of June 21/22.
Circuit attendances are expected to top 100,000 over the weekend and millions will see the event broadcast worldwide.
With his entry accepted by the sports governing body the FIM, Markham will ride the Canterbury based BM Groundworks Yamaha’s at the event.
He rode these Graham File tuned machines in his Grand Prix debut ride at last years British Grand Prix, achieving a 17th place finish in the race.
