Ashford have been cleared to play at Homelands after their 3G pitch passed a retest.
The Nuts & Bolts have worked round the clock to get the pitch up to standard since it failed last week’s annual grading.
Earlier this week, club owner Don Crosbie revealed they had spent £6,000 getting the surface up to scratch and their efforts have paid off.
The pitch passed today’s retest, meaning Ashford’s home game against East Grinstead on Saturday will go ahead as scheduled.
“We can confirm this evening that our pitch has been successfully credited,” said Ashford on Twitter.
“We look forward to welcoming East Grinstead and all supporters this weekend for our first home game of the season.”
It’s also good news for Homelands tenants Kennington, whose Bank Holiday Monday game against Deal can also go ahead.
