Ashford United's lawyers have confirmed the Southern Counties East League club have started legal proceedings to regain ownership of Homelands.
It follows receivers being called in by V Bar Limited last November to recover debts of £260,000 incurred following the installation of the new 3G pitch at the Kingsnorth ground.
V Bar Ltd took over ownership of Homelands at the time, and the receivership issue resulted in United incurring a 10-point deduction last month.
Philip Myers, Legal Director of London based firm Freeths, issued a statement on Monday outlining details of the hearing which took place in the Chancery Division of the High Court on Friday.
It said: "Ashford United Football Club issued proceedings against V Bar Limited and Minotaur Clubs Partnership Ltd, seeking among other remedies the re-conveyance of (Homelands) it's property, and the cancellation of all documents associated with a transaction whereby the property was transferred away from AUFC's ownership.
"Further and in addition AUFC has applied for an injunction to be heard on Wednesday April 6, seeking amongst other relief, an order that neither V Bar Limited nor Minotaur Clubs Partnership Ltd must take any steps to prevent AUFC from carrying on all it's football club business at the property."
