Ashford United will be considered for promotion despite missing the original deadline.
The Southern Counties East League Premier Division leaders have won an appeal to the Football Association, having been left off a list of 69 clubs after the club's paperwork wasn't received by November 30.
United chief executive Denise Peach was granted a personal hearing which was heard at Wembley on Wednesday.
In a statement United said: "Everybody connected with the club are pleased to hear the FA have made the decision to allow our application for promotion to be accepted.
"The sub-committee followed all the correct protocol, and the appeal gave us the opportunity to explain the mitigating circumstances surrounding the application.
"It is a good decision for football, which I am sure we are all thankful for."
She added: "It's great news, and I am over the moon and I am sure all the players and supporters will be too. Onwards and upwards."
Player-Manager Danny Lye said: "I always had faith in the appeal process.
"I am delighted for the club and the players, because we have put a lot of time and effort to getting where we are now.
"We have got a great camp, a strong squad, and the news is the perfect boost to carry us into the end of season run-in."
