Bethersden pulled off an emphatic 3-0 over Market Hotel in Sunday’s Premier Division Cup final in the Ashford & District Sunday League.
Bethersden keeper Don Murrell produced a series of super saves to keep Market at bay before Tom Ripley gave the villagers a half-time lead, and then man-of-the-match Ripley and Tom Sims, with a 35-yard screamer, scored two more in the second half.
The Division 1 Cup final will be between Lydd and Mersham.
Lydd had to come from 2-1 down at half-time to defeat Hamstreet 3-2 in their semi-final. Aaron McGuiness and Ross Ketley scored for Hamstreet, with Joe Tibble (2) and Bill Briffet replying for Lydd. Highfield suffered their first defeat by any Division 1 side this season when they went down 1-0 to Mersham, for whom Mickey Doyle scored the only goal.
