Bradley Ray has impressed his new Vyrus-Racing team bosses in testing in Spain.
The three-day session at the Cartagena circuit was hampered by strong winds, failing to provide ideal conditions for development work on two machines.
However, team principal Stefano Caracchi saw enough to say: “The whole team is satisfied with young Bradley. He has proved to be fast and a good test rider.”
The Lydd teenager added: “We made many runs to test the equipment. The team told me not to push too hard, not take many risks and just focus on the bike. I did that and things gradually improved.
“I then had a lot of fun shooting a crazy video on track which was an incredible experience.”
The next testing session takes place later this month.
Ray is preparing to make his debut for his new team in the FIM CEV Repso Moto 2 European Championship.
