Bliby were dumped out of the Kent Sunday Premier Cup after suffering a 4-2 home defeat to holders Sun.

Pat Kingwell and Tommy Dawes netted for Bliby but the North Kent Sunday League champions proved too strong.

In the Junior Cup, Mersham lost 3-2 to Sheppey League side White Horse.

Mersham were 3-0 down at half-time but fought back after the break with two goals from Mark Howles.

Shadoxhurst moved into the last eight of the Junior Trophy with a 5-4 win over last year’s beaten finalists Sporting Dartford.

Shadoxhurst had a player sent off but goals from Stuart Prior (2), Andy Hone (2) and John Gibbs took them through.

Aldington Reserves lost 3-1 at Spartac, with Alex Williams scoring their goal.
