Bliby scored five times in the second period of extra-time to beat Bromley Green 6-1 and reach the semi-finals of the Ashford Charity Trophy in the Ashford & District Sunday League.
With the score at 1-1 after 90 minutes, Bliby ran riot in the final 15 minutes of play. Tommy Daws (3) Paul Burt (2) and Tommy Burns scored for Bliby, while Tom Poyner netted Green’s goal.
Bromley Green Reserves scored three goals in the first 20 minutes on their way to a 5-1 semi-final win over Burton Grove in the Sheber Trophy.
On target for Green were Ashley Webster (2), Matt Wedge, Charlie Clark and Darrell Hagger.
The Locomotive Inn will meet Brewmaster Reserves in the other semi-final after edging Bliby Reserves 2-1 with goals from Justin Crux and Darren O’Leary.
In the Premier Division, Market Hotel defeated bottom club Ashford Cavaliers 5-1 with goals from Keith Mason (3), Steve Harris and Dan Cornell.
Bethersden had a battle against Kennington before winning 4-2. Two down with 20 minutes left, they hit back through Mark Rook, James Sims, Darren Willis and Don Murrell (penalty).
