Kennington have continued their statement of intent to the rest of SCEFL Division 1 by adding another name to their squad.
Former Ashford United youngster Robbie Dolan has joined the club to become the 19th confirmed member of the team’s squad this term.
The midfielder, who has played for the likes of Canterbury City and K Sports during his relatively short career so far, has featured in all three of the club’s pre-season victories against Ashford and Faversham Strike Force, as well as against Tunbridge Wells on Friday night.
Manager Dan Scorer believes his latest addition will prove key for a team looking to put the disappointment of missing out on promotion last term behind them.
"I'm really pleased to have Robbie on board,” the 29-year-old said.
“He’s come in with a brilliant attitude and worked really hard to prove his value to the squad.
"He's a player I had on my radar last season before he joined Canterbury, so I'm glad to now have him involved with us.
"Robbie will add great competition to what is an extremely competitive squad, and I'm certain he'll play a big role in helping us work towards what we hope will be another successful season."
Kennington, who are playing in the FA Cup for the first time this season, discovered their opponents in yesterday's draw.
