Leon Camier hopes to be released from a German hospital on Monday after being detained overnight following a high speed crash at the FIM Superbike Championships at the Nurburgring in Germany.
The Ashford-born rider had moved up from 10th on the grid to sixth in the opening race, when he hit an oil patch on the track and lost control of his bike.
Camier was assessed by trackside staff, before being flown by air ambulance to hospital in Koblenz.
He underwent scans on a neck injury, which proved negative, and was given the all-clear.
Team manager Paul Denning said: " It was a frightening accident and puts everything into perspective. Our only focus was on Leon's condition, which initially was very concerning. All the team are relieved that his injuries don't appear to serious."
He added: "We do have concerns why the bike that caused the oil slick was still on the track, and why there was no information for the riders or a red flag.
"We will speak to the race directors to see if these matters can be explained and improved in the future."
