Kennington schoolboy footballer Connor Morris made his debut for England under-16s during their 6-0 thrashing of Northern Ireland on Friday evening.

The 15-year-old came off the bench to play 39 minutes of the Sky Sports Victory Shield match at the Ballymena Showgrounds, and will hope to have done enough to earn a starting place for England’s next match, against Wales, on October 31 in Llanelli.
