Lloyd Blackman has praised the commitment and versatility of brothers Adam and Luke Cuthbert.
The pair have become firm fixtures at Homelands since moving from Phoenix Sports in the summer of 2012, and both are set to make their 100th appearance for the club in the FA Vase fourth round tie against Eastern Counties League leaders Norwich United at Homelands on Saturday.
Assistant-manager Blackman said: “They are players you can always rely on and both are great lads.
“They are always committed, consistent and you know what you are going to get in every game.”
Specialist penalty-taker Adam (28) (pictured) has switched from midfield to right- back in recent weeks, while Luke (29) started the season in the same role before moving to centre-half, then left- back.
Ashford have done their homework on the in-form East Anglian outfit, who are chasing silverware on three fronts.
Blackman added: “I know a lot of people in the area who know a bit about them, and they are going well.
“Any side still left at this stage of the competition is going to have something about them.
“We will be working on nullifying their strengths, and exploiting their weaknesses."
The winners will earn a cheque for £2000 and a place in Monday's last-16 draw.
