Steve Langford picked up two golds in the Veteran’s championships winning the M40 long jump with 5.12m and triple jump on 11.09 with Ian Mackett second with 7.45m.

Mackett was also third in the 800m with 2:47.0 and fifth in the 400m with 79.3.

The was another double gold haul in the M50 section for Mick Goodall who won the high jump with 1.45m and claimed the pole vault with a 3m leap.

Ashford’s Lesley Hall, who has battled with illness and injury, again showed her remarkable spirit taking the gold in the W50 1,500m with 5:52.9 and a silver in the 800m with 2:57.9.
