A DREAM came true for, Kate Marfleet, of Smeeth and her pony, Murrum Park Phantom, when they won the Show Pony Finals in the 2007 South Essex Insurance Brokers (SEIB) Search For A Star Championship at the Horse of the Year Show.
This event is the pinnacle of the showing season, and it is the ambition of many riders to be able to compete here.
Murrum Park Phantom was foot perfect throughout the class to take the title, owned and ridden by Kate.
This pony was re-imported to the UK when the family returned after living in Australia.
"This has been such an exciting week, Phanty did nothing wrong, we are so pleased," said Kate's mother Amanda Marfleet.
