ASHFORD Town boss Clive Walker has brought his assistant at former club Dover Athletic Steve Nolan over to join him at Homelands.

The duo have known each other for more than 20 years when Nolan moved into coaching after being an apprentice at Coventry and player with several non league clubs.

Nolan, who lives near Dover, has also coached at Sittingbourne and became Walker's assistant at Crabble in 2005.
