Emma Jenkins of Ashford Friars School won the girls’ 9/10 years title at the South East Biathlon Championships at Tonbridge School.

Jessica Learmont was the runner-up with Subhadra Jivan Friar fourth and Megan Fox fifth in the event which involved a 50m swim followed by a two-and-a-half lap run.

All four girls now go to the British Biathlon Championship at Macclesfield on May 17, where they will be joined by Folarin Ogunsola, who was second in the Youth D boys’ event.
