Ashford United's FA Vase run is over.
Two goals just before, and after half-time by Wessex League leaders Salisbury did the damage in this FA Vase quarter-final defeat on a damp afternoon in Wiltshire.
However the story might have been so different had Paul Booth and Jon Pilbeam not missed two good clear-cut first-half chances.
Skipper Kane O'Keefe put Salisbury in front after 27 minutes.
He fired home from close-range after Shaun Welford blocked the first shot.
Welford then headed clear off the line as the home side, managed by Steve Claridge, went close again.
United should have drawn level 10 minutes before half-time.
Ryan Palmer's deep right-footed cross from the left, picked out veteran striker Booth who headed wide of the far post from four yards.
Pilbeam, a Wembley Vase beaten finalist with Tunbridge Wells in 2013, then dragged the ball wide of the same post after a neat one-two with Booth.
Things got worse for United on the stroke of half-time. A misplaced pass created problems, Taureen Roberts hitting home the second inside the left-hand post
United player-manager Danny Lye made a double-change at half-time, replacing himself with Chris Saunders, with Mikey Dalton taking over from Booth.
However, United went further behind inside a minute, O'Keefe headed home Salisbury's third and his second from close-range.
Kamurasi then pushed away another effort from Dan Young.
Palmer's trickery then took him to the by-line but goalkeeper Charlie Searle saved his effort, before he poked the rebound onto the goal line, only for home defender Callum Hart to clear.
Pilbeam dragged another effort wide on the hour.
Kamurasi kept out another effort from Young inside the last five minutes.
