Tim and Tristan Reeves extended their lead in the Eastern Airways British F1 Sidecar Championships to 45 points at Snetterton last weekend.
The Tenterden-based brothers finished runners-up in the opening race.
Despite starting at the back of the grid in 19th place, having suffered mechanical problems in qualifying, they produced a thrilling ride, setting a new lap record in the process, before being pipped by winners Sean Hegarty and Calum Lawson by 0.674 seconds.
They went from last to ninth on the opening lap, continuing to force their way through the field and setting up a thrilling finale, Hegarty holding on to claim top spot. Tim and Tristan went one better second time out, claiming their seventh win of the season.
Lapping just a fraction outside their new record, they won by 4.6secs, finishing ahead of Andy Peach and Charlie Richardson. Hegarty failed to finish, after being forced to retire.
Tim now turns his attentions back to the roads, heading to the Isle of Man for the Southern 100 meeting, reuniting with TT passenger Dan Sayle.
