Ray Turner is looking forward to a long-awaited return to fortress Faversham the Lilywhites’ only home game in a six-week spell spanning nine games.
They have impressed in front of their own fans, winning their first seven games at Salters Lane in all competitions this season.
However, their only home game in the past three weeks came against Guernsey on September 16 and after Saturday’s visit of Corinthian Casuals, Town only have one more home game before November.
Turner said: “We have had a lot of away games and some long trips and some more coming up, so it will be good to get back home and hopefully we can keep the points coming in.”
Three goals in the final 20 minutes condemned Town to a second straight FA Cup second qualifying round exit at Maidenhead on Saturday,
Turner said: “The only disappointing part of the result was the score. It was a tight game for the first 70 minutes but we fell behind to a soft first goal. I wasn’t at all happy with the penalty award or the referee all day.
Town did bounce back with a win in Tuesday’s game at East Grinstead, coming from behind to win 3-1 with goals by George Monger, Wayne Wilson, his seventh league goal of the season and Dean Grant.
Jack Harris (ankle) and Darren Marsden (also ankle) are sidelined but Turner is hopeful Josh Stanford, Renford Tenyue and Luke Harvey will be fit for Saturday after picking up knocks in the previous two games.
Turner is expected to ring the changes for the League Cup first round trip to Sittingbourne on Tuesday (7.45pm).
