Ashford AC’S dynamic walking duo Kelsey Howard and Jonathan Hobbs enjoyed success at the English Schools race walking championships in Birmingham.

Kelsey, a pupil at Folkestone School for Girls, was in a class of her own, leading from start to finish to win the U15 Girls 3,000m in 16:08.

Jonathan, a 15-year-old pupil at Harvey Grammar, suffered a rare defeat in the U17 5,000m with the national track and road champion settling for silver with 25:42.
