Orpington man and woman charged after Met Police drugs operation in London

Two people from Kent have been charged after an operation to tackle drugs and violent crimes in London.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police, including the Violent Crime Taskforce, Lambeth and Southwark team and Territorial Support Group charged 13 people in total.
The group of men and woman, ranging from 19 to 56, were arrested on Wednesday after warrants were executed in Bromley, Croydon and Lambeth.
Ripton Jones, of Oakdene Road, Orpington was charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin, three counts of supplying crack cocaine and three of supplying heroin.
Akira Miller, of Cowden Road, Oprington, was charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
Jones, 37, appeared at Croydon Magistrates' Court on Thursday and was remanded in custody, while Miller, 27, also appeared at the court but was bailed.
Both will appear at Inner London Crown Court on Thursday, July 16.
