Armed police swoop on Chorley Wood Crescent, Bromley following reports someone was seen with a gun

Armed police swooped on a residential street after reports someone was seen with a gun.

Firearms officers were called to Chorley Wood Crescent, Bromley, shortly before 10.30am.

The woman was arrested in Chorley Wood Crescent, Bromley

A spokesman for the Met Police said: "Police were called at 10.28am to reports of a person in possession of a firearm.

"Armed police officers attended and a woman has been arrested for possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

"No trace of a firearm was found.

"She has been taken into custody where she remains and inquiries into the incident remain ongoing."
