Firefighters have tackled a blaze after a bus caught alight.

Crews responded to reports of a bus fire on Chislehurst Road in Sidcup at 12.23pm today, near CTK St Mary’s Sixth Form and Queen Mary’s Hospital.

Two fire engines and around ten firefighters attended the scene, where a bus was partially damaged by the fire.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
