Folkestone man charged after attack outside Bexleyheath nightclub leaves 28-year-old critical in hospital

A man will appear in court today after a violent assault left another fighting for his life.

The 28-year-old victim remains in a critical condition after he was found with a serious head injury outside a nightclub in Broadway, Bexleyheath.

Metropolitan Police are investigating the assault

Bertrand Sisk, 26, was arrested near the scene and charged yesterday with grievous bodily harm, actual bodily harm and possession of Class A drugs.

The South Lodge, Folkestone, resident will appear at Bromley Magistrates' Court today.

Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to call police on 101. Please quote CAD 649/01DEC.
