Abbeywood man charged after attack in Sidcup

A man has been charged after a woman was left with a cracked skull and broken collar bone following an attack.

The 19-year-old victim was airlifted to hospital from North Cray Road, Sidcup, near to the White Cross pub.

Investigating officers have since arrested Billy Hibberd in connection with the incident, which has been described as an 'unprovoked attack'.

Hibberd, of Boxgrove Road, Abbeywood, has been charged with actual bodily harm.

The 30-year-old appeared at Bromley Magistrates Court on the same day.

He has been bailed to appear at Woolwich Crown Court on September 4.
