Rail services were suspended after a person was hit by a train.
The incident happened between St Mary Cray and Sole Street, near Cobham.
Emergency services attended the scene.
Rail operator Southeastern confirmed somebody had been hit by a train just after 6am.
The lines between St Mary Cray and Longfield, or between St Mary Cray and Otford have now reopened.
Trains are gradually returning to normal on the Sole Street and Maidstone East lines following but delays are still expected until 12pm following the earlier incident.
Tickets can still be used on London Underground and Thameslink services.
