A woman and two children have been found dead in a house.

Police were called at 11.50am yesterday to concerns for the welfare of people in a home in Mayfield Road in Belvedere near the Europa Estate in Erith.

A 47-year-old woman and two boys aged nine and seven where found dead.

Next of kin have been informed.

The Met's Specialist Crime Command is leading the investigation and detectives are currently not seeking anyone in connection with the deaths.

A crime scene remains in places.
