Police were called to a pub following reports of a man with a "ball bearing gun".
At around 6.50pm yesterday officers were called to The Golden Lion, in The Broadway, Bexleyheath and detained a man in his late 30s nearby.
The man has been arrested and was taken to hospital as a precaution.
An air weapon was also recovered at the scene.
Police have been contacted for further information.
