Five more people have been arrested after a young man was shot dead.
Kai McGingley died on Thursday, February 9, after a shooting in Pembroke Road, Erith.
Two men, aged 18 and 20, were previously arrested and charged with the 24-year-old's murder.
Now, five more people have been arrested for different offences after the Met Police carried out a number of warrants.
A 16-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, while a 53-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
Three men - aged 17, 20 and 33 - were arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
All five remain in custody.
Police and paramedics were called to the residential road at around 8.50pm where Mr McGingley died at the scene after being shot.
Detective Chief Inspector Chris Wood, who is leading the investigation, said: “I continue to urge anyone who has information regarding Kai’s murder, or the events of that night to come forward and speak with us.
“We have made a number of arrests but our investigation continues. Anything you know could prove vital in us securing the evidence to convict those responsible."
