Girl left 'extremely frightened' after boys whisper sexual threats on bus in Bexley

Detectives have released images of two teenage boys they wish to speak to after sexual threats left a teenage girl “extremely frightened”.

The 17-year-old victim was travelling on the B15 bus in the Bexley area when two boys sitting behind her whispered a threat of sexual violence.

They then got off at Ruskin Drive (Stop G) at Bellegrove Road in Welling. The victim reported the incident to officers the same day.

PC Toby Bayliss, from the Met’s Road and Transport Policing Command, said: “This incident understandably left the victim feeling extremely frightened and shaken.

“We will not tolerate this type of language and behaviour.”

Officers carried out several enquiries to trace the perpetrators and have since released images of two boys, believed to be aged between 15 and 17.

They would like to speak to them in connection with the incident, which happened on Monday, April 22.

“If you recognise either of the boys in the photos, please contact us as a matter of urgency,” PC Bayliss added.

“Any information you give us will be treated in the strictest confidence.”

Anyone with information about the incident, or who recognises the boys in the photos, is asked to call police on 101 or message @MetCC on X quoting CAD 2566/22April.
