A missing girl has been found, and a man has been arrested in connection with her disappearance

Police had been searching for Bexley teenager Aaliyah Chen, since Sunday night.

The 15-year-old had last been seen in Sidcup at 9.30pm that evening and was reported missing the following day.

Yesterday, it was reported that she may have made contact with an older man.

Officers found her today at 11.54am in a wooded area in Croydon.

She was taken to a south London hospital as a precaution but is reported to be safe and well.

A 23-year-old man was arrested at the scene in connection with her disappearance and is in police custody.

Police remain at the scene and a crime scene is in place. Enquiries are ongoing.
