A man has been rushed to hospital with stab wounds following a suspected machete attack.
Police were called just before 4pm to a report of an altercation in Chatterton Road, Bromley.
Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service and taped off the road.
A man in his 20s was found with stab wounds to his chest and was taken to hospital.
The force have confirmed no arrests have been made so far and inquiries into the incident continue.
An ambulance spokesperson added: “We sent numerous resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and London’s air ambulance.
“We treated a man at the scene before taking him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
