A shopping centre was evacuated after a bomb threat.
Police were called shortly after 10.30am to reports of a bomb threat at Broadway Shopping Centre in Bexleyheath.
The centre posted a statement on Twitter just after midday stating: "Please be advised the shopping centre has been evacuated and is currently closed. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. When we have further information and are able to reopen we will let you know."
Police vehicles were also seen parked at the centre and a police cordon was set up.
A statement from the The Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called at 10:37am on Tuesday, March 15, to reports of a bomb threat at a shopping centre on Albion Road, Bexley.
"The area has been evacuated as a precaution. This incident is not being treated as terror related."
But at 2.48pm police confirmed that after a search of the shopping centre nothing suspicious was found and the cordon was lifted.
