An NHS trust in Kent has received a special message of thanks from actor and singer Jerome Flynn.
The Game of Thrones star, who was born in Bromley, sent a video to the Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust to pass on his "deep gratitude" for its work during the coronavirus crisis.
He also took a moment to compare the trust's fight and sacrifice against coronavirus to a battle with the hit fantasy show's most deadly foe.
He said: "When everyone [in the show] collaborated and went off to save the planet and fight the White Walkers... I feel that in a way, that's what you're doing, except you're doing it in the real world!
"You're doing it for all of us, risking your lives, even giving your lives, and putting yourselves through some extraordinary days.
"I want you to know that even though we can't truly appreciate what you're going through, we deeply appreciate what you're doing, and what you're giving in sacrifice."
The 57-year-old, who has also had several number-one hits as half of pop duo Robson and Jerome, says his mother is self-isolating in the county.
"We deeply appreciate what you're doing, and what you're giving in sacrifice"
He explained: "Personally, Kent is my home county, and my mother is there.
"She's a vulnerable lady, as is my step-dad, and I'm truly grateful to know that you guys are there, doing what you're doing."
