Southern Counties East round-up as Erith & Belvedere maintain 100% record with 10th straight win

It’s 10 out of 10 for Erith & Belvedere as they extended their perfect start to the Southern Counties East season.

The leaders thrashed Kennington 6-1 at Park View Road on Saturday thanks to Nathan Palmer’s hat-trick and goals from Tyrell Richardson-Brown, Tunde Aderonmu and Rob Strachan.

Liam Middleton replied for the Ton.

Whitstable halted a three-match losing run with a 4-2 victory at Glebe.

Harry O’Donnell gave the Oystermen an early lead but they found themselves 2-1 down before goals from Tom Mills, Matt Gething and John Oliver’s penalty.

Richard Styles’ side are up to eighth with the win.

Second-placed Erith Town chalked up a fourth successive win after coming from a goal down at Hollands & Blair.

Canterbury, in 19th, suffered their third straight defeat in a seven-goal thriller against Welling Town.

City battled back from 3-1 down to square the match but were edged 4-3.

Marcus Travers, Gerry Owen and Joe Nwoko scored the Cantebury goals, with Josh Biddlecombe, Sam Bailey, Fred Agyemang and Kweku Ansah on target for the visitors.
