Hayes and Minster continue to fight it out at the top of the Kent League Premier Division.

Hayes kept their one-point advantage over their closest challengers with a 66-run win over Sevenoaks Vine, Alex Blake leading the innings with 120 not out.

Good work from opener Gareth Severin (72) helped Hayes to 123-3 before Blake took centre stage with 17 boundaries from 82 balls.

Thomas Gallagher made the Sevenoaks chase even tougher with 56 as they finished on 349, Luke Schlemmer and Sam Jones taking three wickets each.

Schlemmer scored 107 in reply but was caught and bowled by Scott Gallagher, while No.6 Michael Cowdrey made 66 before he was dismissed for obstructing the field as Vine ended on 283. William MacVicar led the bowling with 4-40 and ran out Kent's Ben Compton.

Minster claimed their ninth win of the summer with a six-wicket success over Bickley Park.

Safwaan Imitiaz top scored with 72 in Park's 203-9, six Minster bowlers sharing the wickets, and despite finding themselves 9-3 in response, Joseph Parry with 70 and Aron Nijar's unbeaten 97 saw the Islanders home with four balls remaining.

Blackheath were also winners in the final over after beating Sandwich by four wickets with five balls left.

No.8 David Grant top scored for Sandwich with 52, Tejpal Birdi taking 3-44, in their 223-8 but Blackheath claimed the spoils thanks in large part to Tanweer Sikandar, who smashed 98 off 100 balls, before Grant denied him his ton. Ross Richardson also played well with 52, Harry Bee taking 4-45.

Tunbridge Wells were too good for bottom side Beckenham, winning by 73 runs.

It was a case of too many dropped catches for the strugglers, with four chances missed in Wells' 196. Mudit Dayal led the attack with the wickets of Sam Smith (39), Mike Waller (4), Mark McLean (2) and Dave Smith (3) to complete a superb spell of 4-19 in six overs.

Beckenham’s innings started steadily until, at 24, Alexander Senn (13) was held by Ian McLean off Dave Smith. A middle-order collapse saw the away side on 76-7 and despite a stand worth 43 between David Moody and keeper James Balmforth, Beckenham were all out for 123.

Matthew Stiddard's 92 not out was the highlight of Bexley's win over Lordswood.

Stiddard, along with an unbeaten 42 from Adam Riley, helped Bexley to 234-6 after 50 overs - a total beyond Lords who were dismissed for 188. No.3 Joe Gordon scored 47 with three wickets for Freddie Foster and Adam Ball.
