Welling start the National League South season at home to a team who made the play-offs last campaign.

Rod Stringer’s side will welcome Aveley - who were beaten 2-1 at Maidstone this April as the Kent club reached the play-off semi-finals - on Saturday, August 10.

The Wings will then travel to Bath City seven days later while their first week game will be at newly-promoted Hornchurch on Monday, August 26, two days after a home match with Farnborough.

United host Tonbridge on Tuesday, November 26, and welcome Chelmsford - one of Stringer’s old clubs - to Park View Road on Boxing Day before a New Year’s Day trip to Maidstone. Their Tonbridge trip comes on Tuesday, February 25.

Their last scheduled away league match is at Chelmsford on Monday, April 21, four days after their home game against Maidstone, with a home game against Salisbury ending their regular league season five days later.
