Leaders Bexley skittled Holmesdale for 92 in a big win to send them back to the foot of the Kent League Premier Division on Saturday.

The hosts reached 225-9 from their 50-over allocation, as George Haley top scored with 66. Leo Carter (5-39) best with the ball.

Despite Carter’s best efforts (49), he also scored more than half of the away side’s measly reply, which ended in 25 overs. Ex-Kent spinner Adam Riley (4-30) doing the bulk of the damage.

There was another century for legendary former Kent all-rounder Darren Stevens in St Lawrence & Highland Court’s 89-run success over Minster.

Stevens’ 115 came off 94 balls - and included five maximums - as the home side recovered from 42-4.

There was a half-century for Will Hilton (53), making his 200th first-team club appearance, and a welcome unbeaten 49-ball 61 from skipper Matt Hammond amid their 276-6. Daniel Masters (3-38) did his bit with the ball for the Sheppey side.

In reply, the visitors found themselves 5-3 and, although James Thompson struck 44 off 43 balls, they were 187 all out. Jamie Hemphrey (3-42) claimed the first three Minster wickets.

Lordswood are second, still nine points off the summit, after a big away triumph against Blackheath.

Half-centuries by skipper Calum MacLeod (90) and opener Linden Lockhart (58) got them to 282-7, Ed Taylor then crashing four sixes on his way to an unbeaten 21-ball 39. Tanweer Sikandar’s 2-51 saw him finish with Blackheath’s best figures.

Brendon Louw top scored with 31, as Blackheath were 161 all out in the 40th over. Hugh Scott (4-45) shone.

Third-placed Tunbridge Wells eased to a home win over Sevenoaks Vine amid a high-scoring game.

Wicketkeeper Sam Smith (113) got them to 312-7 from their 50-over allocation, having put on 111 runs alongside Calvin Johnson (54). Luke Schlemmer (3-38) was best with the ball for Vine.

In reply, opener Ben Price gave Sevenoaks hope with a 62-ball 93, in which he blasted six maximums and 15 boundaries in total.

But they were restricted to 202 all out - Matthew Barker (3-43) and Michael Waller (3-46) among Wells’ wickets.

Sandwich Town eased their relegation fears with a five-wicket home win against Hayes.

Gareth Severin’s 67 helped the visitors post 189 all out in the 43rd over, while Harry Bee and Alex Smith both had figures of 3-30.

There was another quickfire half-century for Zack Fagg, 53 off 43 balls, and Cody Nieuwoudt (21 not out) saw them across the line. Alfie Peck (3-33) shone for Hayes.
