Canterbury: Dealer Farzin Farahi jailed after Kent Police stop car in Sturry Road

A drug dealer has been jailed for 20 months after being caught in possession of crack cocaine, heroin and cannabis.

Farzin Farahi, 23, of Tennyson Avenue, Canterbury, was a passenger in a car in Sturry Road when it was stopped by police officers in November 2014.

They recognised the car as being connected to the supply of drugs in the area.

Cannabis was found next to Farahi’s seat and he was arrested for possession of class B drugs. He also had £800 and three mobile telephones.

At the police station, officers found two wraps of herbal cannabis hidden down the front of his trousers.

Farahi’s home address at Tennyson Avenue was subsequently searched where a large amount crack cocaine and heroin was seized.

The drugs had a street value of £15,000.

He pleaded guilty at Canterbury Crown Court for possession of the drugs with intent to supply.
