An accounts manager is facing jail for stealing more than £300,000 from her employers.
Hayley Mwemi-Harris was remanded in custody after admitting three charges of obtaining a money transfer by deception and one of fraud and asked for 43 other offences to be considered.
They were committed at construction company R J Parry Ltd, of John Hall Close, Faversham, between June 2005 and November last year.
Donna East, prosecuting, told Maidstone Crown Court today the total amount taken was £311,806.
The married 25-year-old, of Hyde Place, Aylesham, near Dover, wept as Judge Douglas Moore refused bail and remanded her in custody until sentence on September 3.
"I want it clearly understood the only appropriate sentence here is a custodial sentence," he said. "There is no option for the court.
"Over £300,000 was taken over a period of time when she was in a position of trust. It is an extremely serious offence."
