Air ambulance lands at Victoria Recreation Ground in Canterbury after woman falls from Castle Street multi-storey car park

An air ambulance was called after a woman fell from a multi-storey car park.

Paramedics were called to the Castle Street site in Canterbury yesterday evening shortly before 9pm.

A helicopter was seen landing at Victoria Recreation Ground, off Rheims Way.

An ambulance service spokesman: “We were called at about 8.57pm yesterday to reports a person had fallen from a height in Castle Street, Canterbury.

“Crews assessed and treated one female patient at the scene before being joined by the air ambulance.

“The patient was then conveyed by road to William Harvey Hospital for further medical treatment.”

Police confirmed they were not involved in the incident.
