A branch of budget supermarket Aldi has shut for 10 days while it undergoes a refurbishment.
The store in Wincheap, Canterbury, closed on Tuesday for a major overhaul that will make it "much brighter with simpler layouts and wider aisles".
The shop is set to stayed closed until Thursday, March 3.
A spokesperson for Aldi, which has more than 6,500 stores worldwide including about 900 in the UK, said: “We closed our Wincheap Lane store on Tuesday, February 22 to carry out refurbishment works.
“When we reopen on March 3, the store will be in our new layout, which ensures more space for fresh, chilled and food-to-go ranges.
"It will be much brighter with simpler layouts and wider aisles. We will keep the community updated on developments.”
The Wincheap supermarket is one of two Aldi stores in Canterbury, since the chain opened a second store in Sturry Road in October.
