Pedestrian hit by van outside Canterbury West station as air ambulance, police and fire service called

A pedestrian has been hit by a van outside a railway station.

An air ambulance, police and fire engines have been called to Canterbury West railway station this afternoon.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called to a report of a collision between a pedestrian and a van in Station Road West, Canterbury, shortly after 12.10pm.

"Officers are currently at the scene along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and the road is closed between the junction with St Dunstans Street and the roundabout with The Spires."
