Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be married by the Archbishop of Canterbury in May, it's been confirmed.

The Most Reverent Justin Welby will conduct the ceremony at St George's Chapel in Windsor on May 19.

It will be the first Church of England wedding of a senior royal to a divorced woman in modern times.

The Dean of Windsor, the Right Rev David Conner will also conduct the ceremony inside the 15th century chapel, which is based inside Windsor Castle.

The couple will take their wedding vows in front of Archbishop Welby.

Well wishers will be able to see the newlyweds during a procession around Windsor, which will start at 1pm.

The couple will leave the chapel, head through the castle gates, and follow a loop back around the town.
