Arrest after break-in at Mercedes-Benz dealership in Canterbury

An arrest has been made after a man was found with keys to "high value" cars following a break-in at a Mercedes showroom.

Police were called to Vikings Mercedes-Benz dealership in Sturry, Canterbury, at 10.10pm on Saturday, following a report of a man acting suspiciously in the area.

When officers arrived at the Mill Road premises, they found a door to the business had been damaged.

A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and later released under investigation while enquiries continue.
