A group of bargain hunters have taken Black Friday to the extreme on Friday afternoon by cutting the roof off the top of a car to squeeze in their deals.
The Renault Clio pulled up next to Superdrug in St Georges Street at around 2pm and a man in a suit got out and used an angle grinder to slice off the car's roof.
Another two men helped him push a hot tub and a DJ mixer into the car.
Jennifer Wood saw the commotion. She said: "I know that Clio's aren't convertibles. I couldn't believe what they'd done.
"It's madness - there was scores of stunned people all taking pictures. No one could understand what was going on."
Little did spectators know that internet prankster Lee Marshall was behind the stunt.
He said: "I love the adrenaline rush - I get such a buzz off of it.
"We wanted to push boundaries and Black Friday was a great time to do it. We want to make people laugh and it's all about public confusion.
"I've always got ideas for the next prank."
Lee Marshall aka Discoboy's YouTube channel is full of video pranks and has reached more than one million people.
