Body found in Blean in search for missing man Alexander Pearce-Kelly, last seen in Canterbury

A body has been found following a police search for a missing man.

The discovery was made yesterday near Blean, six days after Alexander Pearce-Kelly was last seen in the St Dunstan's area of Canterbury.

On Friday police asked for the public's help locating the 29-year-old who had been missing for four days at the time.

He was officially reported missing on March 2 and officers released a photo of him as part of their appeal on March 3.

A police spokesman said: "The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

"The family of a 29-year-old man who was reported missing in Canterbury on Thursday, March 2, have been informed.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner."
