Boy's clothes taken by two teens in Canterbury robbery in St George's Street

A boy was shoved against a wall and robbed of his hoodie, glasses and body warmer by two teenagers in broad daylight.

The victim was approached by the duo in St George's Street, Canterbury - near the subway exit next to Burgate Lane.

The two teenagers, who were about 18 years old, pushed the boy against a wall and stole his hooded top, glasses and body warmer, before running off.

Police are investigating the incident, which happened at about 3.50pm on Wednesday, September 15.

They have since arrested a 17-year-old from Canterbury, who has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw the robbery, particularly a woman who tried to speak to the victim at the time of the incident.
