Canterbury Ladies’ inconsistency continued as they were beaten 1-0 by Bowdon in the ENHL Women’s Premier Division.

The team sit fourth in the table but have won just once in their four league matches since the start of the year.

Tina Cullen scored after 11 minutes for third-from-bottom Bowdon and that was enough to separate the sides.

The men were victorious on home soil against Oxted, winning 4-2.

Mickel Pierre put Canterbury ahead with just three minutes gone but the scores were level before the break.

Pierre added a second and Thomas Richford made it 3-1 from open play after 62 minutes. Oxted scored a minute later but Canterbury added a fourth with a second for Richford.
